New Installations, Account Transfers, Account Data Changes

If you are the owner, you should visit the Board with your identity card, present the sales contract or the property title and pay the transfer fees (currently €10 + VAT) and the Security Deposit (currently €50). It is understood that, the bill should be settled (by the previous owner) until the day the premises were sold.

If you are a tenant, you should visit the Board with your identity card, presenting the tenancy contract, if it exists, otherwise the tenant should be accompanied by the owner, who will bring his identity card, for consent, and pay the Security Deposit (currently €100). It is understood that, the bill should be settled up to the date the new tenancy agreement commences, and for this reason, the Board encourages consumers to bring the last water meter reading.

Documents which must be presented to process a request to install a new meter include: (1) Topographical plan ( 2) Title deed, (3) Building permit (4) Architectural drawings with floor plans, elevations and sections of the building. If the water supply request is approved for the premises, you will be asked to pay the New Installation fees, Connection fees and Building water supply Rights as provided by the Board Regulations.
